Tofu chips is one of the most popular of recent trending foods in the world. It’s appreciated by millions daily. It is easy, it is fast, it tastes yummy. Tofu chips is something which I’ve loved my whole life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.
Place the tofu in a single layer on a clean dishtowel and cover with another clean dishtowel (I use clean cloth diapers, which work really well). Line a cookie sheet with foil and lightly brush with oil for greasing. Place the slices on sheets of kitchen paper to absorb any excess moisture. Add the spices and the salt to the olive oil and beat them together.

- Get 250 grams harden tofu
- Get what ever sauce you like
- Prepare salt and pepper
To make the flaky texture, take one of the tofu pieces and slice the tofu part way through repeatedly about ¼" apart. Cut the nori into the forms of the tofu and put the nori sheet on the tofu slices. Press the nori a bit onto the tofu so that it sticks. Sprinkle the backside of the tofu with a pinch of salt.

- Oven on, 200°c.
- Cut tofu into chips. Score them getly on one side.
- Place chips on an oven tray and place in oven. Cook chips for 20mins or until golden brown on each side.
- Remove from heat onto paper towel.
- Season with whatever veggie salt you like. Serve immediately with sauce.
- Note: I used my own lemon and cracked pepper salt and sweet chilli sauce.
Press the nori a bit onto the tofu so that it sticks. Sprinkle the backside of the tofu with a pinch of salt. Place them on paper towels and some heavy weight to drain off excess water. After about an hour, rub either side of the tofu with salt and red chili powder, cover with a damp towel and let it rest for another half hour. Mix corn starch with water and a pinch and set aside.
